made by u-play, is that brand new? looks interesting, but seems a bit barren and lacking any active managers at all. there's also a few bugs. anybody from striker play on there? 28/04/2011 03:45

yea pretty much. i just played my first game today, lost by 3 because whoever's coaching the team while i watch doesn't know how to play by the tactics i set. *angry* plays exactly the same as SM, but with more tactical options that i think SM will implement next season. how useful IBM's tactics are though is a matter of opinion, as i just said they totally blew mine off during the most important part of the game. :/ if more people join and take control of these teams, it'll be a basketball equivalent to Striker. i wonder when u-play will come out with hockey. 30/04/2011 04:54

I'd love for there to be an american football or baseball manager sim that isn't boring as hell or costs money. but every one i've seen so far is either boring as hell, costs money, or has a terrible presentation. 30/04/2011 05:42

did you get a league that has more than 3 human teams? just wish the season was more than 18 games. though i guess some folks prefer the shorter season, you should be able to do more than 3 league games a week for a basketball team...better than most of the bball managers though. 30/04/2011 06:03

Looks like it......hmmm...yeah, maybe round 30 or 40 games per season might be better then again scheduling with the season though.

yea, in basketball terms 4 games a week would be more realistic and leave the weekends for the private leagues and allow energy to recover more efficiently between games. 4 games in a week is the norm for NBA teams. it affords more daily traffic for the game too. the one thing that'd turn IBM from a good manager game to a great one is if there were at least 30 games to the season and perhaps an extra 2 teams per conference. then the regular season would be perfect. 30/04/2011 06:43
