Check your rosters for players in their final years.... If you're not going to resign them and they are under 22 years over 40 avg then

1) offer them to me,
2) or list them in the market area of the forums. so that you sell them for a pittance rather than get nothing and forcing the purchasing player to pay more in the auction.

There may not be time for you to auction them off if their contracts expire on wed.... so cash them out while you can!!

Option 3: Send a message offering rebsiot your players at dirt cheap price, then turn around and sell them to Ninocchi at rock bottom profit. 14/06/2011 19:59

Hope they won't penalize us for buying players in their last year of contract cheap? 14/06/2011 23:21

resign them.

Cheap players in final year of contract sales happen in every sport.

I've seen super stars traded for 100,000 and a player to be named later in baseball...because the team knew they'd get nothing in a month.

Yeah am aware of that, but this isn't real life. It is striker manager where anything can happen. 14/06/2011 23:31

question: I shortlisted a player who's on a team that is not being actively managed. He's in his last year of his contract. I don't want to pay his buyout clause, but would like to buy the player later. If I wait till the end of the season, can I get him on a free transfer, or what happens to him? Saw something that suggests that he will go to auction. Is that the case? thought I was doing myself a favor by scouring rosters in this situation, but if he goes to auction, I guess the effort will have been for naught. 15/06/2011 00:45

I thought I read they go to auction.

Don't scour rosters. Do targeted searches with your scout based on specific needs

Yeah they go into auction. However the starting price is usually high. 15/06/2011 08:13

My specific needs are to get better at every position . . . for as cheap as possible. 15/06/2011 08:46
