Ok, I know I promised this agessss ago, but I've been busy of late, and finally managed to get it done! So without further ado, here is the paper I wrote on The Economics of the Striker Manager Transfer Market. interesting m8  You bring up inflation as a problem that should be avoided? > i think the main problem from inflation will be manager numbers: as time goes by it will be harder and harder for noobs to start - gap to top will seem insumountable to all except the most dogged managers who love the long term challange ok so if mangers decline u would get natural deflation - but we dont want that! i like to think of the sm economics like a housing market - we need those 1st time buyers! so i say dont mess with the economics - but do make it harder for the top teams to stay there without making too hard for noobs to progress On a seperate but slightly linked note (helping beginers to progress without losing heart):- making the seasons shorter - dont u see for noobs it will take them nearly a year of playing this game with crappy boring players untill they achieve a decent mid level at best :? isnt this asking alot of our new managers ? this is a really good game that will in time be so much better, i'm enjoying it alot. and good work Dee |
