STATUS AS OF JANUARY 2022: It is no longer possible to import formations in this way. As such, this page is currently redundant. If the feature is brought back again, you will be informed. sicox86 Good evening peoples. We at Striker HQ have become frustrated with the abysmal default formations provided by the game. As a result, @solirocket, @grantis45 and myself have decided to create some basic formations you can use that should prove far more effective for you when you first start the game. When you go into the formation screen, start a new formation and in the top right select 'Advanced'. Then in the menu on the right click 'Import'. Copy the information from these posts directly into the dialog box and click OK. Once you have done that, move the ball around on the screen and notice how the players move as well. We have tried to develop formations for multiple squad types - remember, players are much less effective if they are used out of position. We hope you can use these formations to get an understanding of how the game works. It helps the passing within the team -Do not leave more than 4 spaces in the middle of the defensive, midfield line without placing a player in there. -Do not leave fullbacks at the sidelines when the ball is close to your goal.
