Is the market dead? I bought a 59 avg player for 7M. Trained him to 66 avg. in 3 months. Now I auctioned him and he got sold for only 4M. RIP my money and coach salary.. RIP the market. The initial purchase was via hostile.. that's really not a market transaction. The auction price was normal. If anything, the price qualifies as good-to-great for that player's age and rating. Instead of attempting to blame the market which actually worked in your favor in this case, consider how your assumptions regarding hostiling can be improved so that when you're hostiling guys with release clauses worth billions, you're successful with that hostile. What type of player should I hostile? What progression should I look for when I hostile? What should my training be? What rating should I target? When do I plan to sell this player I'm looking to hostile? What price and rating do I want to sell him at? Is that a realistic target price and/or rating for the amount of time I want to train him? How can I check expected prices of age/rating combinations of players I don't have? All these things - and, actually, more - can be answered before the hostile. There's always more to learn about this game! |
