Season 4:
The effort finally bore fruit! We are pleased to announce you that the new simulator will be launched next season. This means that you can now see visually where your players will be on the pitch and knowing that you can only judge a player by what he does on the football field, now you will decide better if your tactic is appropriate or not.

It is actually a huge overhaul changing many core aspects of the game. The following list describes the most important ones:

1. Players:
The players’ features will change drastically, some have already disappeared, for example, charisma, and new one will appear as feint or ball-stealing.
1.1. These new features are going to be used directly in the new simulator, so the overall average of the players is provided for informational purposes only. From now on there you must look at individual features to determine if a player is interesting for your team or not.
For example, you may have a defender with overall average 60 but with the feature of ball-stealing very high, that makes this player a good ball-stealing player. On the other hand, we may find another defender with average 60, but with the parameter of ball-stealing very low, the reason may be because other parameters should be very high, such as pass or speed.

Depending on the kind of player we want, we are signing up one or another, players are differents from each other, and you must see which one will best suit your needs.

1.2. By changing the features of players, trainings have also changed. Many of them have disappeared and new ones appear. Of course, you will have to experiment a little to find out what works best for your team. Trainings now directly affect specific features. Training does not raise the overall average directly, but what it does is raise a particular feature, then this one will influence more or less when calculating the overall average of the player.

1.3. Parameter “experience” of players has been recalculated. We have assigned a new value to it, regarding the age of the players. Before the experience was not important, however, now experience gives you the opportunity to get new skills for your players to further customize them. With every game we play, players will increase experience and reach a certain threshold, they will level up. With each level a new ability is gained. You can choose one among all those available. For example, when your forward levels up, then you can choose between the following skills "Net-breaker" that will increase the goal-scoring ability; or "Running with the ball", which will increase your speed getting a higher management of the ball when running, or "Change of pace "a very useful skill when dribbling your rival defenders.

1.4. The parameters the players will have after the change of season have been calculated according to their average, so they should be players with similar features, if their average was already similar before the change.

2. Tactics:
Section “Tactics” has been massively changed. In the new simulator, tactics have been developed in greater depth. Anyway those users, who do not want to make life difficult for themselves, should not worry because it will be possible to continue using the current method for defining tactics. Only this field has expanded to people who really want to use them in greater depth to obtain more specific results.

2.1. New screens were created. Mainly, we are going to further explain about the screen “formation”, used to define exactly where we want to put our players; the screen “tactics” and the screen “advanced tactics” (users from Ibasket are already familiarized themselves with the latest one)

2.1.1. The screen “Formation”: You can put your players exactly where you want on the field. Surely, many of you are thinking, "I can already do this now," and you are right! What we have done is expand this screen to define where our players are, depending on the position where the ball is. You can decide that your players move to left if the ball is on the left side of the field. You can tell to your central defender to move backwards while the attacker dribbles under pressure. Do not worry if you feel it is too complicated, you have at your disposal a magic button that will define formation automatically.

2.1.2. The screen “Tactics”: Here you can define 4 parameters that will set out how your team plays, where it plays and how effective it is. You can choose between attacking in the middle or on the wings. We can also choose to play short passes or counterattack, if we defend man-to-man or in zones, and the level of effort that you ask your players. The higher the effort on the field, the higher the performance, but players will get tired after the match because they clearly gave their all.


2.1.3. The screen “Advanced tactics”: On this screen you can define how to change the way to play as it fits you. There are many ways to customize tactics: you can change the formation if your team is 2 goals down and time is short, or you can change to a more defensive tactic as soon as your team goes ahead on the scoreboard. The amazing thing is the level of customization it allows you, you will able to customize every little detail of each team.

2.1.4. We remade the Screen “shooters” and we fixed the problem. Now it runs correctly.

3. Simulation:
All these changes will be reflected in the simulation of a game. The old system disappears, so all games will be simulated with this new system. Anyway, the games are already simulated and you do not need to be present during the game to make changes in tactics or players. You can set this via the screen “advanced tactic”.
