Anyone else experiencing this?

I want to re-sign some sr players before Thursday. However, something seems wrong. Example:

Say the salary is 20,000 which makes the hostile clause 20,000,000.

When attempting to re-sign the player it now costs 25,000 tomake the hostile clause 20,000,000. So it costs more to have the same hostile clause.

Anyone else experiencing this or do I fail at the interwebz??

Its normal. The players grow older and therefore the same salary will give you a lower hostile clause. If you notice in general, for same average players...the older ones will have a lower salary/release clause ratio. 20/09/2011 15:50

Sweet thanks for the answer. I fail at the interwebz! I wonder what constitutes old now. I thought that players' playing lives were extended but who knows. I re-signed a few jrs and their as their salary increased so did the hostile clause (not that it matters for resigned jrs though). 20/09/2011 16:02

true, for all players as their salary increases hostile will increase but at different rates. some will have hostiles=2,000*salary, other will have hostiles=1,000*salary etc. That factor is dependent upon several factors including age , average, fidelity and possibly other stuff...
