If you give people the power to dislike a comment that can turn ugly fast... i like the idea of just a like button, so if you don't like a comment, it gets no votes. I'd rather have a like/dislike on news posts personally, but I don't see any decent way of avoiding this problem. Although, I guess the problems may very well only be temporary, or at least until all the rage-hostiling, vote-bribing, and general trolliness that I see happening settle down.
