Ok. So last night I was informed of a feature that currently exists in SM. Speeding up stadium construction. I told devs I would announce it at close of business today if they didn't respond....no response, so here's how it works: for 250GB you can cut the construction time of your stadium 50% down to a minimum of 1 week. So if you are building your stadium 1 week at a time, then you would never see this option.  So for example: Let's say I were to improve this stadium in the picture with 6 improvements. Upgrade 1 general to pro (pro + 6,000, General -6,000) Upgrade 2 standing to general (general + 12k, standing - 12k) Add 3 standing (standing + 18k) This costs me around $15M (you still have to make the outlay) This is 6 weeks of work. I punch it in today: 11/26/2011 Estimated Completion Date: 1/7/2012 A couple of minutes after I pay for the construction... I click on manage stadium. And i see the Speed-Up 250 GB I click on it, and it asks if i want to speed up stadium construction? (assuming you have 250GB in your account) I say yes! New Estimated Completion date: 12/17/2011 After I do this, Can I do it again? (you might ask... I did) YES YOU CAN. That button will still be there, because construction is still > 1 week. I click Speed up and say yes. New Estimated Completion date: 12/6/2011 So, on or about Dec 6, I will have completed all of that work Instead of 6 weeks, 15M, 0 gb it is now 10 days, 15M, 500gb Got it? That is your stadium speed up tutorial. |
