 I'm starting to think i should stop playing this game. Can anybody explain why I drawn the last game against a 33-35 average team. (Mine is 48)
FC HOSPI ATLETICO 2 - 2 Black Gloves. WHY ?
Look at their lineup in this match.

And it's not the first time it happens.. Please fix it. I think because of this i will downgrade.

 Don't jump to conclusions about this game simply because you have had a few draws... SM is a very well run simulator. It is based all off of tactics. Perhaps you should look at your opponent's matches more closely before assuming you will win based on averages. 24/02/2012 17:28

I always look at the next rival and analyse its team.

 are you using an advanced formation? if not, you should.

you need to a goal scorer. The RW/LW in this simulation are basically attacking RM/LM (have speed and good dribbling and a little better shooting than a LM/RM with same avg). Wings are good at beating an offsides trap. But if you keep them wide, they will miss the goal every time. Use advanced formation to bring them from a wide position closer to the box when near the 20 where they at least have a better chance of being on goal.

LF/RF in this simulation are basically attacking RIM/LIM (better shot, but not as fast or good passers). OM are kinda useless if you ask me. You are better off with a good IM and using advanced formation to put them in an attacking role or using two RIM/LIM who will be fast, have good passing, and if advanced have a decent shooting percentage. I would invest in a RIM/LIM to supplement your attack.

You have two IMs - you could stack them (one more offensive one more defensive) in advanced formation, so they don't play out of position and lose their average, but are effectively an OM and are better than playing your OM. still, both have shooting in the 30s% - so in the end you need a goal scorer.

i would invest in a LF, RF, or CF to have someone with a high shot on goal/scoring ability (forwards usually have higher shooting than comparable avg LW/RW). If you play too many forwards, you compromise speed. some people, for this reason, flood the midfield and have a lone striker or play 4-4-1-1 with a winger to beat the offsides trap. you can have your RW as a lone striker, but use advanced formation to bring him to the center, not so wide as you currently have him.

regarding your defense, your CDF is on top of you goal keeper. you midfielders are doing all of the defense. their first goal was a 3 v 1 against your RDF while your CDF and LDF hung out with your keeper until they decided to play some defense. they scored because your keeper went out of position because your CDF was slow to challenge him.

I would move your entire back line up, at least to the 20 . also, you dont need to play with your LB AND RB unless you need speed (if the other team is playing with LW or RW). otherwise, make your defense more compact with advanced formation and play with just 1 LB or 1 RB with a LDF/CDF/RDF. that way, you can bring your LB or RB (depending on what you choose) into the attack when you cross half and they have speed to get back on defense.

Thank you very much for your time spent writing those very good tips.
I've already changed the formation, and i'm currently looking for a forward.

If it's not too much to ask, what do you think about tactics(Effort, Attack, Defense, Play). How should they be?

 I have my effort set based on the score. If it is tied (draw) then I set effort on high, around 75% on the slider. As I get into the lead, I drop my effort off, usually to around 50%. When I am down a goal or two, I put effort to 90%. If you put effort that high, you need to sub quite a bit, so just a warning.
