Is there something that I'm missing where I can be outbid 1 second after making bid for a player by the same team I just overbid? And in the same thread, can I make it so that this event terminates at a set price, say $1 million? I think I'm looking at a bidding bot, but I just want to make sure. |

When you go to the bidding screen, you have the option to set a "bid" which is your starting offer and is automatically preset at just above the lowest current bid or starting price. Below that, you have a "maximum bid" option, which means you will exceed any bid that surpasses your initial bid up until this price. This is why you see lots of 10K incremental bids between two team in some auctions and how your bid can be immediately overtaken by another player who has set such a price hood for themselves.
