Continuing the trend of OMG-that's-awesome, I'd like to announce a public beta test of a mobile-enabled advanced formation editor. It is my hope that this code will be directly migrated to the main site. http://chiaraquartet.net/f/ormation.html If you use opera mini, then you should use this site instead: http://chiaraquartet.net/click/formation.html opera-mini-specific instructions: To move a player, tap that player and wait for the page to load. Then tap where you want that player to move. To move the ball to another location, tap the ball, wait for the page to load, then tap where you want to move the ball To export the formation scroll down, click "export" and scroll down further to the export box. Then you can copy the formation and paste it into striker manager directly as the instructions for other users below show. Please try this site on your phone and in your desktop browsers, and report any bugs here. You can zoom in and scroll around like you can on any website to make it easier to see the little guys and the ball. Note that I've removed all the stuff you might see on the main site, including basic formation and the links, but otherwise it is identical to what you will see on the main site. EDIT: forgot to mention how to use this. 1) Create a formation 2) click Export 3) copy the generated code 4) log into striker manager 5) choose the full site 6) from the formations page, click an empty slot for your formation and name it something 7) click the "import" button 8) paste into the box that pops up 9) click "save" List of browsers verified as working: iPhone: Safari, Chrome, Puffin, Photon, Mercury, Opera Mini (click/formation.html ONLY) iPad: Safari, (Chrome?) Man, you make it too easy to do this at work. Now I don't have to worry about my boss seeing it, I can just politely excuse myself to the bathroom for an hour and touch up my formations. |
