As Spanish manager I am tired to explain to everyone the player's positions so here you have : Striker- Used positions and abbreviations English-Spanish Goalkeeper (GK) – Portero (PO) Central defender or centre back (CDF) – Defensa central o zaguero (DF) Left central defender or left centre back (LDF) – Defensa central izquierdo (DFI) Right central defender or right centre back (RDF) – Defensa central derecho (DFD) Full backs : .Righ Back or right full back (RB) – Lateral derecho (LD) .Left Back or left full back (LB) – Lateral izquierdo (LI) Defensive midfield (DFM in Striker or DM) – Centrocampista defensivo (MDF) Centre midfield (CM or IM in Striker) – Centrocampista central o mediocentro (MC) Wide midfields or side midfielders : .Left midfield or left wing half or left half (LM) - Mediocampista lateral izquierdo o centrocampista lateral izquierdo (MI) .Right midfield or right wing half or right half (RM) – Mediocampista lateral derecho o centrocampista lateral derecho (MD) Midfields : .Left centre midfield (LIM) – Mediocampista central izquierdo o centrocampista central izquierdo (MCI) .Right centre midfield (RIM) – Mediocampista central derecho o centrocampista central derecho (MCD) Attacking midfield or offensive midfield ( AM or OM in Striker) – Centrocampista ofensivo o mediocampista ofensivo o volante o mediapunta (MO) Centre forward (CF) – Delantero centro (DLC) Left forward (LF) – Delantero izquierdo (DLI) Right forward (RF) – Delantero derecho (DLD) Wingers or outside forwards: .Left winger or left outside forward – Extremo izquierdo (EI) .Right winger or right outside forward – Extremo derecho (ED) Positions NOT IN USE in Striker : Sweeper (SW) – Líbero o defensa central libre (LB) Wing backs : Left wing back (LWB) – Carrilero izquierdo (CI) Right wing back (RWB) – Carrilero derecho (CD) Please feel free all of you to amend any mistake that I may have made  Thanks Edited by The Red Fury 11-08-2013 12:43 Edited by The Red Fury 11-08-2013 12:45 |
