I need your opinion on Early promotion from div5 to div4. What are the pros and cons of accepting a early promotion. Currently i am in div5 and i have received a offer to get promoted to div4. I would be replacing a team which is in position 16. Is i advisable to accept this offer? Should i wait till end of season to get promoted. |

Better to wait untill the season and get promote.If u accept now u may get relegated at end of the season.That means again you will be in div5. and try to buy better player otherwise u gonna struggle in div4. |

Plus, I think you will be slapped with a ticket revenue sanction for not having the correct accessory level on your stadium. Something like 50%. You're a dead cert to promote anyway, you'd likely go straight back down from 16th, and you'd be worse off financially due to the revenue sanction. |

you are sure to be promoted so you'll get 50 GBs free next season.if your first then 75 GBs. better to stay and win GBs than to go up and fight for relegation. |

To answer your original question: Pro: more revenue and more supporters so higher ranking Cons: tougher opponents, more chance of relegation Since it's in the middle of the season I wouldn't recommend promoting now as others have said. You would also need to upgrade your stadium accessories to level two if I remember correctly which uses about 8m. I would only have recommended promoting if you had no chance of getting first or second this season as the better revenue would have surely help, but it looks like you're dead on for 1st this season. In the mean time, improve your squad, as there is a huge gap of quality and competitiveness between div4 and div5. Good luck. |
