Is it just me, or do a lot of teams bounce back and forth between divisions 4 and 5? I've gone back and forth about three times now -- top of division 5, then bottom of division 4, back to 5, back to 4, etc. And that's been so even as my team gradually gets better. In short, the difference between division 4 and 5 seems too much. | 10/09/2013 17:56 |

There are a lot of system bots in division five, and few in division four. The other difference is advanced formations. Few teams in division five use them. | 10/09/2013 18:14 |

If you think that jump is hard, think of jumping from division 4 to 3, which I think is extremely hard. From div6 to 5, not much difference. Division 5 to 4 is more competitive requiring more attention to the game. Can't say for higher divisions as then it tends to matter who you get grouped with lol. |

After div 3 it is just a nightmare, it doesn't matter which group, it is just extremely hard work, | 11/09/2013 00:26 |

I think it could be argued that any promotion after Div 6 to Div 5 is difficult. Two seasons ago I finished 2nd in Div 4 and got promoted. I then got stronger but got demoted back to Div 4 last season. I am sat in 2nd in Div 4 right now and wondering whether to go for promotion or not. | 11/09/2013 00:44 |

ill argue with you BBScouser that a promotion after div6-5 is hard, when it really isnt. Promoting from div4 to div3 isnt hard at all either. You just need a good advanced formation. With a 60avg team. Promoting from div 3 to div2 is where it is tough for most teams. Really you need an 80avg team with a well structured formation and advanced tactics to get promoted. You can promote with a 70-75avg team aswell if the group is easy. Then from div2 to div1 is a free-for-all. |

+1 to Armo...I promoted from division 4 to division 3 for the first time with a 55 average team and a solid formation. I then got relegated back to division 4, got promoted again with a 70 average team and have been up in division 3 for two seasons. I'm in 3rd place now with an 80 average team, so I like my chances for next season, but who knows what will happen. As Armo said, a lot has to do with the difficulty of the group. There are 20 div1 managers on this game, there is a possibility 1 out of the 20 managers share a formation of theirs ![]() |

I wonder if the divisions are getting tougher all-round, as I would doubt the likelihood of promoting to Div 3 (not staying there, just promoting) with a 55-60avg side now! Or perhaps our Div 1 and 2 friends are being a little nostalgic! Perhaps the availability of top players will blur the lines between the divisions as it has Div 1 and Div 2? Just a theory! I took way too long to "get" the game, still struggle with advanced formations and trends, and am now being punished for my relaxed attitude! |
