Generally by hiring a coach that is as close to 99 as you can find in the coach market and training him the rest of the way with courses (costs in-game money - usually millions - and advances 1%) or degrees (costs 100 GB, advances 2%). Many managers usually a strategy called "staff roulette" to find that near-99 manager/scout/etc. Simply put, hire the lowest man available, check the staff board for a new hire, fire your staff and hire the lowest man, and repeat until you find someone to your liking. It can be time-consuming, but it's ultimately cheaper than hiring incremental upgrades or training a coach from the 70s to the 90s. |

So this is something you would want to wait to do until you get into division 5 or 4? | 19/09/2013 06:13 |

i think the staff roulette should be like the player's market, so we could pick the staff we can afford.. | 19/09/2013 07:24 |

It's down to luck once you get past 80-85%. I got a 96% senior coach on the market, which was easy to train up - but since I picked him up at 96, his salary is pretty high. My junior coach I found was 88 I think, and I trained him up from there - his salary is a few hundred thousand dollars less than my senior coach. If you do staff roulette, be prepared to spend money - apparently it can take awhile to find a 85+ coach. |
