Dude, you've gotta train one position at a time. It's called "farming". You also need good coaches to entice other managers. 20/10/2013 16:43

I've read that training one position for the senior squad was a waste of time...or am i missing something, ....

but that is the main criteria to let others loaned out their players to your team....in SM, "loan" means "to train other's player"...

ok, so if i was to be loaned for example a DFM, i would need to restructure my training for the whole season to benefit the DFM, how would that affect my team as a whole, sorry if i sound a bit stupid but havn't had a loaned player before..

you need to PM the owner and ask him what kind of training he expected for the player...of course when you train specific position, you need to sacrifice other positions....but if you have "matured" players for those other positions, it would not affect your team that much...

that's why you need to think carefully before doing some loan...for example, if you want to loan a DFM make sure you have other young players that will benefit from DFM training i.e. CDF, LDF, RDF and DFM of course...and maybe some midfielders depending on training required by the owner...

that is just my opinion...i might be wrong here....

But the training wont be meant only for the DFM,midfielders and defenders will benefit,in that case.
So if you want to get a DFM on loan, just notify that you train Mids or Defs in your team.

You need to first of all find out what is best for your team, if you have young defs who train well then train defs, work out what loan you would take in only after you are happy that the training will benefit you in the long run.

There is no point in getting for example, 2 awesome forwards training them up but not having your own forwards too. This will bring you back to square 1

Loans may get you out of a jam but they may also give you a false sense of security

1 important and key factor.. Stick to the agreement. To many managers have been getting burned by inexperienced managers.

A loan is a shared responsibility and partnership. You can get really good players on loan provided you begin to make a reputation for yourself that no matter what you stick to your agreement with the loaned party. That means if you say 100% starting and training full season, then unless a yellow card, red card or injury arises, the loaned player should be getting 100% (or 80% whatever you agree on)
