The fire outbreak started when a section of the stadium went in flames during a live league match, which resulted in a stampede as spectators were seen scrabbling for the exit which later led to the partial collapse of the stadium. when ABC sports news reporters got to the scene, we were able to gather that the fire actually started from the dressing room after the final whistle, when the players were off the pitch, the incidence resulted in the death of ASTO F.C's players. Although the root cause of the fire outbreak is yet to be confirmed. The stadium's capacity has now been reduced to 42,000 seat and all effort to get the manager of the club's proved abortive, because alot of $G.M managers were around him and notable among were, Sido02, Crown boy, avenger, deewhysharp, H.duckworth, STEVVO, Herzhan, eldi11, and Oladimejii.
