Hi.

Out of curiosity: I waited a long time before promoting my juniors (20yrs old instead of the recommended 18) now they're in the senior team and they seem to be losing training points as if they were over 30years old.

Does it mean they are ruined forever or they'll improve in the near future

It depends on the prog of the players, some may improve steadily, while some may even be loosing points. 75% of themselves has been ruined. 26/03/2018 10:07

NB. 19yrs is the right age to promote. Any 19yrs still in your junior squad is losing progression fast
They are on the decline as they've lost all their prog points or reached their peak

I once promoted a player 19 yrs in the mid-season and does training, never high. Not in my team again... 27/03/2018 10:06

Thats because his progression has not been completely reduced.
But your own case is different from his.

You shouldn't have promote him because he is still a rookie ..
Don't worry,he will improve but it is a matter of time.
