Are you asking if it makes a difference if you make one large deposit or several smaller deposits for the same total amount?

i will advise you to make it large, so you won't have problem with the cumulative interest.

I don't see the difference

Please explain your thinking here.

e.g.
You deposit 1m
for the 1st week you get- 7k interest.
2nd week- 7k interest.
3rd week- 7k interest.
4th week- 7k interest.

Meanwhile to in experienced managers, deposit will make them think that:
1st week they get- 7k interest
2nd week - 14k interest
3rd week - 21k interest
4th week - 28k interest.

I was once deceived too.

This does not affect the original poster's question.

The original question referred to, for example, whether one should deposit 1 x 10m or 10 x 1m. The answer is it makes ALMOST no difference as long as the cash is left in the account and not withdrawn during the week.

It's true, cumulative interest is not paid. This chunk of interest is instead debited from the weekly expenses.

7% is actually the annual interest. The game takes a year to be 13 weeks (giving us 4 seasons in a real life calender year). So we actually get 7/13 % or 0.54% each week.

by saying make it large, i meant 10m at once instead of 1m 10 times.

Danny, it makes almost no difference in doing this. You are welcome to PM me if you don't quite understand how the deposits work.

The only difference you will see sometimes is $1 less in interest over the first week because it can take you a minute longer (and the game calculates by the minute) to make 1 transaction over 10. Otherwise, there is no financial difference whatsoever. Some may prefer the flexibility of having smaller chunks available so they don't have to remove 10m from the deposits to cover a $900k deficit at the start of the week. That's a matter for them but it makes no difference to the financial perfomance of the deposit.

I am going to close this as the OP has his answer several times.
