You're still in the Striker Manager Cup, moreover you've qualified for the next round. You're not the only one to play a team with manager, they're system bot. 3 goals has been awarded to you. |

If we follow a tournament structure, we know number of participating teams in a round = 2^y structure (otherwise expressed 2ʸ), where y indicates the number of rounds in reverse (so round 1 is the final, round 2 is the semi-final and so on). In other words, we know a final must have two teams (2^1), a semi final must have 4 teams(2^2), a quarter final must have 8 teams (2^3) and so on. Our Striker Cup currently has enough teams to fill somewhere between 12 and 13 rounds which means there is somewhere more than 4096 (2^12) and fewer than 8192 (2^13) teams, including system bots. This means we know that at least 4096 teams will play in the 12th round, and from there it follows the regular knockout structure. But there are more than 4096 teams at the start. Teams are randomly assigned each season whether they will play a knockout in round 13 or if they will be given a bye and progress straight to round 12. |
