this is exactly what people were saying during the reset in fml and the devs there took note and allowed them to keep them, this would imbalnace a reset imagine the advantage u will have it takes 2-3 seasons norm to get 99%


possible compremise...
in stead i would say fine old managers keep their 99% but only after 2 / 3 seasons they allowed to activate them?

I agree with the coach issue. I don't think the coaches should be kept (as hard as that is for me to say). I just want the GBs back. Anyone can buy GBs so it wouldn't be as big an issue for new players. The issue would be in new players wasting GBs on stadium speedups and improving their physio. Again a point where the experienced managers would have a huge advantage.

It's worth pointing out that as we don't know which areas of the game will be altered by the new update, there is no guarantee that anyone would have a major advantage in a reset situation. 22/06/2013 03:03

I think people are getting to passionate and losing their head a bit.

I don't think the devs will reset the server if anything they'll probably lose more money than they would make,and its a huge gamble with no definte rewards.

At worst they will create a different server, in my opinion, so calm down and have a coors(or Bud) to chill you out

When the old sim was replaced by current (updated) sim along with training in season 5 the teams and finances remained the same. Again when store and catering were added everything remained the same.

The question to be asked is what do developers really intend to change. Are they just changing the design / layout of the game? Are they changing the sim and training as well?

I dont see a point of reset in either cases as its been done seperately on 2-3 different occasions over the past few seasons.

Yes there were bugs that came up when they made these changes but nothing severe. So why then do they want to reset the servers? Is it just because its easier for them to get the new updates. If thats the case then I am sorry to say but the developers are acting just lazy and opting for an easier option. Developers can just save the teams and coaches part of the game and then implement the new game in my view.

Let us suppose there is a reset then what? Do they plan to have 1000+ grps in Div 6/7 and then promote Top 2 managers as its currently done. 90% of managers will never be able to make it out of that division for 4-5 seasons.

Even if the developers give a Gb compensation to everyone in the game, whats the use of it since everyone is gonna run Gb searches and 100s of managers will go after one player (though that may sound exciting to others but in reality its not) that is after you get 8k experience which takes a good 1-3 months to get if you are active and winning.

No amount of Gbs or any other form of compensation can really give you back 2+ yrs of hard work some managers have put into the game. People say Div 1-3 managers have massive teams andd they cant keep up and hence reset is justified. Seriously? Just because some div 4-6 manager joined the game 5 months back cant compete is reset really justified.

just drama, don't think devs are stupid enough to go for a reset, at max they may close this game with time.
Just in case if they do reset it, i will have some friends in the ghost world then

I either voted for "Parallel servers, new one with update, this one without", "Parallel servers, both with update" can't quite remember but I don't really mind between both, why? because it really gives everyone a choice...

Some want to start again maybe to try a new challenge (e.g: I remember nothafri... dude left because he was winning too much also on es many teams can't get much better than they already are),

Others rather keep playing because they believe they invested way too much on their current account.

Reset is not the sane option here.If the problem is that some managers are finding it boring in upper division cause they cant improve their team any more,then make it challenge for them to not let their team get worse.Make the finances of upper teams more tricky,less change in release clause against salary rise,etc etc.
presently we just resign our juniors with least salary and know that now that they cant be stolen.I mean where's the fun? compel us resign at a greater value.Atleast Make us scratch our head to find new ways to solve such new challenges!.Maybe even create a new parallel server for those who are looking for newer beginnings. But why make the hardwork of so many wonderful,hardworking managers go in vain?
