If your opponent plays an offside tactic, try counterattack.
If plays with a bus defense, try short passes.

^ I agree from my experience.

If they have a defensive line with minimal defenders, usually high lines, then play counter attack as you can easily bypass their midfield and let your strikers dribble through some defenders and to on goal. Sometimes it even works for teams who play deeper as so long as they don't pack a lot of defenders.

When teams load the defense, try to play short pass and let your midfield help up forward. The smaller passes lets you unlock defenses in packed areas.

If your playing like Liverpool, get your best striker to bite one of the defenders 09/08/2013 16:56

The problem I have with short passes is that defenders become morons and don't pass the ball more than 10 yards even on free kicks. Ends up with a lot of bad giveaways.

Your DF's had very low pass
DF's need high pass or precise pass skills to do good passes...

Not at all, that is not a pattern of Liverpool of old. With the likes of Fowler, they do not bite opponent's defenders, they rather bite the net
