Agreed; the qualifying procedure isn't the greatest and it tries to get as many teams from each continent to qualify, i.e. there's quite a few teams that didn't meet sides as good as Germany or Portugal on the way to qualifying. But Europe already has 13 qualifiers, not sure that more can be accommodated without the WC expanding. |
